If you’re reading this, it’s likely the result of a recommendation. Let’s face it, no one’s going to google little old me are they!

Since the late 90’s, a website became a part of any business start-up, but more recently, every man and his dog are online. Nowadays, social media is a big part of many people’s lives and the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram seem to be on everyone’s PC or smartphone. Each offers something a little different and there seems to be a place for all of them. Business tends to be looked after by LinkedIn, so that is my current focus, but I guess each of us use the various options whichever way it best appeals.

Originally, I purchased the domain www.stephenburns.co.uk in the mid 90’s, when I opened my first estate agency, but it was part and parcel of the package when I sold the business in 2004. Some years later, through a chance search, I saw it was available and managed to reacquire it. But what do I do with it?

I decided to use this sole domain as the focus for the three separate elements which make up the whole: Real Estate, Specialist Finance & Me. The creative team set about it and the thought process which led to the current branding is depicted in the image below.

Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life

I don’t suppose there’s an exact definition to what I call work, but, as it has been for over 35 years, all is somehow connected to property and finance, working alongside friends, clients, and other great people from all walks of life at the top of their game, or those who aspire to be. I’m here for help with anything from property acquisition and sale to specialist funding, business planning, training & development, motivation, and mentoring, on a one-to-one basis, or speaking publicly. The website is basically a platform to combine home and work in one place, which will hopefully evolve into an online journal of my life from now on. If you'd like to be involved in the next chapter, feel free to contact me by email, social media, or be different, pick up your phone and call me...
